Your monthly IAP spend × 12, divided by your hourly rate. The result is what a year of packs, pulls, and tips is worth in your own working time — a ruler, not an invoice. Runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent.

That's your spending valued at your own time — what it's worth, not cash anyone takes from you. You decide if it's worth it. No data leaves your browser.
This is the guess version — you typed the number. The Spend Toll app runs the same math on your real spending, purchase by purchase, and keeps the honest ledger.
Ready to see this math at the moment it matters — before the tap?
Coming soon App StorePick the apps where IAP gets you — games, live streams, anywhere the packs live. Opening one shows a pause screen with the math: "A $39.99 pack = 1.3 hrs of your work."
Entering pauses in-app purchases everywhere on your phone. To actually buy, you open Spend Toll and pay a small toll in the app's own coins — never real money — for a short buying window.
Afterwards, you report what you actually spent. Honest reports earn the toll back. Your dashboard becomes a ledger of real spending, priced in your hours — and you decide what's worth it.
Your monthly IAP spending × 12 = your cost per year. Dividing by your hourly rate (typed directly, or salary ÷ working hours per year) converts it into hours of your own work. Example: $50 a month at $30/hr = $600 a year — 20 working hours, about 2.5 workdays.
Nowhere. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent or stored. The app works the same way: no accounts, no server, no analytics.
No. Every dollar figure the app shows is a measurement — what a purchase is worth in your working time — never a charge. The toll for opening a buying window is paid in the app's own coins, earned back through honest reports. The only real-money purchases are the optional Pro subscription and emergency coin packs, both through Apple.
The test we hold ourselves to: does our revenue grow when you fail? Structurally it can't — emergency coin packs are hard-capped at 3 a month (even a complete relapse is worth at most ~$18 to us), coins are earned back free through honest reports, and Pro never sells a way around the friction — it sells stricter tools and deeper stats. Spend Toll isn't against spending; it's against unconsidered spending. If we ever remove the cap or discount bigger packs, hold us to this answer.
Anything bought inside an app through Apple's payment sheet: gacha pulls, game packs and battle passes, coin and gem bundles, live-stream tips and gifts, and subscriptions started inside the apps you choose to guard.
No — it's a self-management tool for adults. You choose the apps, you set the rules, and you can always get through them. No administrator, no remote oversight, no permanent lockout.
Spend Toll is an iPhone app (iOS 17 or later). This calculator runs in any browser.
